About Me

In May 2011, I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree of Art with an emphasis in Applied Design. Since before this momentous occasion, I always integrated art into my daily life since an early age and in this process I have explored all manner of media: fiber art, painting, sculpture, wood sculpture/ carving, and metalwork.

I have instructed for various art studios in Orange county since then, including managing an after-school art program, as well as taking on the Middle School Visual Arts class at Orange County Educational Arts Academy for a semester. I now instruct my own share of classes at my home studio and other locations.

As a means to meaningfully interact with my community, I have volunteered my time to all areas of the art world, almost coming full circle: from starting as a tutor and then as a judge for the Reflections Art Program to volunteering as a Lab Assistant at a metals studio to  donating time to the yearly Yuma Art Symposium to coordinating and volunteering with the monthly Santa Ana Art Walk to judging more art showings ie. OC Imaginology at the OC Fair.

My mission in life has always been to help guide young minds to reach their potential through unlocking their creativity. And then passing along what knowledge I have gained in the arts and education.

Spreading the love of art around is what makes it all worthwhile!
